HOW TO FIND US

We are easy to find. Our shop is situated on the main A629 Halifax to Keighley Road, approximately 2.5 miles from Halifax town centre.

BY TRAIN Halifax is served by many frequent, direct trains from Liverpool, Manchester, York, Leeds, Blackpool and Scarborough. Connections to Halifax are good from other stations.

BY ROAD From the motorway network leave the M62 at Junction 26 and follow the sign 'A58 to Halifax'. You will travel about five miles to the outskirts of the town centre. Stay on the A58 'Flyover' and turn right at the roundabout onto the A629 sign posted Keighley. Follow the sign Illingworth (2.75 miles) the main A629 along the dual carriageway and up the hill when the road becomes two way traffic. After travelling for the full 2.75 miles you will pass a large 'Morrisons' supermarket on the left. We are approximately 600 yards past the supermarket on the left hand side, adjacent to the 'Talbot Inn' public house immediately in front of St. Mary's Church. Our building is the Georgian property to the right of the public house surrounded by wrought iron railings and clearly visible are the red neon signs in our shop windows 'Metal Detectors/Sales Service'.

BY BUS From the town centre bus numbers 520/521 (Illingworth), or TJ Walsh minibus 700 stop right outside our front door. Ask the driver for “One stop after Morrisons supermarket”
