“We’ll
never sell you a metal detector we wouldn’t buy ourselves”
LASER-The Pedigree
The Laser metal detector is based on the world renowned 'Tesoro' silent search and mineral free discriminating
motion circuitry incorporating certain important design
additions to cope with British and European site
conditions.
For at
least the past 3000 years metal objects have been lost
and deposited in the ground. Almost any metal detector on
the market today will have no difficulty in locating some
of those objects - for example a Bronze Age axe, a Roman
sestertius or a Victorian half-crown. But if you expect
all makes and models to detect a Celtic quarter stater or
a Saxon gold thrymsa, you might be a little disappointed.
When the
first 'Tesoro' detectors made their appearance on the
British market in the middle 1980's their ability to
locate quarter staters, gold thrymsas and other
notoriously difficult targets revolutionised the metal
detecting hobby. As a result of those achievements
'Laser' undertook a two-year study to state the reasons
for them, and to beef-up those parts of the circuitry
which had achieved the phenomenal successes.
The
outcome was the original 'Laser' B1, built by 'Tesoro' to
the British distributors specifications. Its introduction
saw discovery rates on Saxon and Medieval gold and silver
coins soar to unprecedented levels. Today, the latest
generation of 'Laser' detectors carry those successes to
even greater heights, packing even more power, even more
punch, into the performance and easily outclassing rivals
in the pursuit of excellence.
RAPIER
The 'Laser
Rapier' gives levels of performance that many other
detectors struggle to achieve regardless of price. If you
don't want to spend half of your precious time twiddling
knobs or reading comprehensively written instruction
manuals, then this could well be the detector for you!
