Chemical
Cleaning Products
By placing an object in a solution of an appropriate chemical, which may be acid or alkali, pleasing results can be obtained on a selected range of your metal detecting finds. Care should always be exercised by practising on items which have little or no intrinsic value. And remember, very different results can be obtained even by cleaning a similar object of a similar age and type. |
